With a background in Business, Patricia has been an active professional supporting the development of new businesses in Chile with an international perspective. All of this from the strategic point of view of the public sector.

 

Before becoming InvestChile's first Investment Commissioner for North America, she was the Director of the Acceleration unit at the well renowned Start-Up Chile program, in which she guided its team into offering world-class services to tech entrepreneurs from more than 80 countries. While in Start-Up Chile she previously had other roles such as Operations and Business Development, and created its female-focused pre-acceleration program, The S Factory. This last position led her to be named as one of the 200 Leaders of Tomorrow by the St Gallen Symposium in Switzerland (2016), one of the Young Leaders 2015 in Chile and a participant of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) from the U.S. State Department (2017).

 

As an active member of the technology and startup community worldwide she is also a mentor for startup founders and helps startup programs identify the best opportunities to invest in, along with being a speaker at multiple seminars in the Americas and Europe on innovation, public policies and business.
