THE UNDERSECRETARY OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC RELATIONSHIPS
The Undersecretary of International Economic Relationships is a public entity, which depends on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is intended to carry out and coordinate the government policy of International Economic Relationships; defend the interests of Chile in international forums and the negotiation and implementation of a free trade agreements network, among other fields. The Undersecretary of International Economic Relationships was set up on July 1st, 2019 as the successor to General Directorate of International Economic Relationships (DIRECON).
