Jaime de la Barra is a Founding Partner at Compass Group in Chile, Executive Vice Chairman of Compass Group Holdings and Chief Investment Strategist. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. de la Barra started his career in Investment Banking at Citicorp Chile. Between 1992 and 1996, he created and was the Head of Investment Research for Grupo Santander in Chile. Mr. de la Barra has been a Member of the Capital Markets Advisory Council of the Chilean Ministry of Finance since 2006. He is also a Board Member of Icare and Chairman of its Finance and Business Circle. Additionally, he is Member of the Advisory Board of Endeavor-Chile and a member of the Executive Board for Latin America of Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Founding Partner and Chairman of InBest, and one of the Founders and Chairman of the Chilean Investment Fund Managers Association. Mr. de la Barra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA (Palmer Scholar) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Gonzalo Isaacs is a Managing Director and Head of Latin America Corporate Banking (CBK) at Bank of America. Mr. Isaacs joined Bank of America on July of 2010 as Head of Latin America Loans Syndication and has vast experience in the region. He is a member of the Latin America executive committee. Based in New York, Mr. Isaacs is responsible for leading a large team of experienced bankers in charge of a large portfolio of corporate and financial institutions in Latin America.  In his position, is accountable for designing and implementing the Latin America CBK franchise growth strategy via the delivery of a multi-product range of financial solutions to his clients active across a diverse number of industries and jurisdictions. Prior to joining BofAML, Mr. Isaacs was BNP Paribas'  Head of Latin America Loan Syndicate. Before joining BNP Paribas, he held the position of Senior Banker at Citibank Chile. From 1998 until 2005, Mr. Isaacs worked in the Latin America Debt Capital Markets group of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in New York City. Mr. Isaacs holds an MBA from UCLA obtained in July 1998 and graduated as a Commercial Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in August 1992.
