Chile's environmental authorities have approved a 201.3-MW wind project proposed by local firm Consorcio Eolico San Gabriel SpA in the La Araucania region.
The project, worth USD 300 million (EUR 270.1m), comprises 61 wind turbines of 3.3 MW planned for installation in the Renaico municipality.
