The lead analyst for Chile's sovereign rating in Moody's will cover the main drivers behind the stable outlook of Chile's Aa3 rating and the company's view on the credit for 2017-18, in the context of lower economic growth, fiscal pressures and presidential elections scheduled for November of 2017.
Ariane Ortiz-Bollin is an Analyst in the Sovereign Risk Group at Moody’s Investors Service. She covers Chile and other countries in Central America and the Caribbean, leading internal rating committee discussions, country and region specific publications, and meetings with government officials. Before joining Moody’s in 2011, Ariane was a research analyst at the Initiative for Policy Dialogue at Columbia University, conducting research on a range of macro-economic, monetary policy, and financial regulation topics. Her prior experience includes corporate credit analysis in Citigroup-Banamex in Monterrey, Mexico, covering the corporate sector in the north of Mexico.
Ariane graduated with Honors in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and has a Master in Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
