Ernesto Livacic is President of the Board of Directors of Universidad Central de Chile. He has also been Superintendent of Banks and Financial Institutions, and member of the Technical Council of Investments of the Superintendency of Pension Funds, in Chile. Dr. Livacic has been since 2000 an independent consultant in banking and financial matters, for the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and Inter-American Development Bank, and also for financial institutions in Chile. Ernesto Livacic has a degree in Economics from the Universidad de Chile, and a Masters and PhD in Economics from Notre Dame University.
